We’re looking for a Creative Industries Intern at Tramshed Tech!

Creative Industries Intern

Tramshed Tech is fast becoming the place in Cardiff where the creative industries and digital technology come together to create new types of content and business opportunity. We are hub for companies involved in music, TV, the arts, fashion, games, social media, drones, VR, web marketing, design and learning.

About the role

In partnership with The Big Music Project, we are offering a 3 month Creative Industries Intern placement. Along with our sister company Big Learning Company, we are growing fast and we are looking for an intern to work with us across a wide range of tasks including:

  • Social media production and marketing campaigns;
  • Digital content production, including shooting and editing video and audio;
  • Creative industries event management. We have events and networking sessions every week, bringing together TV, music and technology companies;
  • Help to deliver Lego Education workshops, where schools and colleges use Lego kits to learn how to tell digital stories and to learn how to code;
  • Work with our co-working management team ensuring that our tenants (which include social media analytics companies, tech start-ups, and TV companies) and our co-working community have what they need to build their businesses.

The intern will have unparalleled access to some of the most creative companies in Wales, and will be able to attend and assist in producing our busy programme of events and networking sessions. Tramshed Tech is an inspirational place full of young entrepreneurs with startup companies, through to well established creative industries companies. This really is Cardiff’s hot ticket if you’re interested in the music, broadcasting, arts and digital learning industry.
